MOTOR CITY CRUISE WINNING STREAK COMES TO AN END

DETROIT – The Motor City Cruise were looking to extend their winning streak to seven games tonight. Unfortunately, the Cruise fell in tonight’s game with a score of 104-87.
The Cruise trailed by one point after the first quarter (28-27). Sterling Brown scored 10 points in the first quarter alone for Raptors 905. He shot 3-4 from the floor (2-3 beyond the arc). Along with an 11-2 run in the second quarter, Raptors 905 shot 7-12 beyond the arc in the quarter alone, ending the first half. They would score 37 points in the second and hold Motor City down to 26. At the end of the first half, Raptors 905 led 65-53.
To finish the first half, Sterling Brown led Raptors 905 with 20 points. David Johnson followed up with 16 in the half alone. Jared Rhoden led the Cruise with 13 points, as Stanley Umude followed up with 10.
After a back-and-forth third quarter, Raptors 905 would close out the fourth to obtain their win.
Jared Rhoden led the Cruise tonight with 18 points. Jaylen Johnson secured a double-double after scoring 12 points and grabbing 12 rebounds.
David Johnson led Raptors 905 with 25 points. Sterling Brown finished tonight’s game with 24 points. Christian Koloko secured a double-double after scoring 16 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. Delano Banton followed up with a double-double for himself, after scoring 11 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. The Motor City Cruise fell to 11-12 and Raptors 905 improved to 10-10. The Cruise will take on Lakeland Magic, February 27 at Wayne State Field House. Tip-off is slated for 7:00pm EST.
