A Letter From Rob Murphy

A letter from Rob Murphy | As we inch closer to the debut of Cruise Basketball, I wanted to share my gratitude with our fans, partners, and the city of Detroit for welcoming us with open arms to the Motor City. Thanks to the vision of Tom Gores and Detroit Pistons leadership, the G League has arrived in Detroit, and will compete in the heart of the 313 on the campus of Wayne State University. I'm a native of Detroit, born and raised - I know the commitment to competitiveness it takes to build a team this city will be proud of. When we take the court for the first time this fall, Detroit will be introduced to a team of rising stars that will reflect this city's passion and spirit. Our organization will match our on-court tenacity with a commitment to embrace and give back to the Detroit community and surrounding areas. We are looking forward to introducing the newest sports franchise, the Cruise, to the Motor City.
